Remortgage Guide - Our at-a-glance guide
Receive Instructions
1. We receive details of the remortgage and confirm your instructions to proceed.
2. Your title deeds are requested from your existing lender.
3. We obtain the up-to-date position on your property from HM Land Registry.
4. A redemption figure is obtained from your existing lender.
5. We receive a copy of your mortgage offer.
6. You complete and return forms regarding the remortgage of the property.
Set for Completion
7. A Completion Date is provisionally agreed with you and your new lender.
Pre-Completion
8. We receive funds from your new lender.
9. We redeem your existing lending.
10. Our fees are paid and the balance of funds are sent to the customer.
Registration
11. We attend to registration formalities with HM Land Registry to show your new lender on
your title deeds.
